5 Days of Festivities: Celebrating 20 Years as a Smart Home Company
After Two Decades in Business, This Called for a Celebration!
It’s the big 2-0: First Priority Audio just celebrated its 20th anniversary! Twenty years is an incredible feat in any industry, and we couldn’t be prouder of our technicians, programmers, project coordinators, consultants, and the entire company. Whether we’re installing a Control4 smart home or a new home theater, the First Priority team always takes it to the highest level for our Pompano Beach, FL clients.
Since 20 is such a special number, we decided to celebrate to the fullest this year. Here’s how First Priority Audio does an anniversary!

November 15th: Happy Hour with Bomar Builders
We hosted our longtime building partners, Bomar Builders, at the Funky Buddha craft brewery. About 30 members from both our teams met for a happy hour and enjoyed a night of drinks, bites, and celebration.
November 18th: Operation Christmas Child
Every year, First Priority Audio supports Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan’s Purse. The organization collects boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene products for more than 188 million children worldwide. This year, our team donated nearly 300 Christmas boxes to children in need.
November 30th: ‘House of Gucci’ Private Screening
The fun continued! We hosted the South Florida chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association to enjoy a private screening of the newly released House of Gucci, starring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, and Jared Leto. Luckily our company isn’t that dramatic!
December 1st & 2nd: Company-Wide Control4 Training
To honor our 20th anniversary, we worked with our preferred home control vendor, Control4, to host a two-day training. A Control4 trainer flew into our headquarters and trained our entire team on the latest Control4 technology. Our technicians, salespeople, and everyone in between is on their way to obtaining official Control4 certifications now!
So much has changed in the world of home technology since 2001. Most people didn’t even own cell phones back then! Touchscreens and tablets are commonplace now; voice control and smart lighting are all the rage. We’ve surpassed HD screens and are now entering 4K and 8K definitions. And we thank all of our wonderful clients for the journey it has been.
