"While attending high school in S. Florida I began playing with electronics in the Satellite TV industry. At the age of 18 I incorporated my first business, named Antenna Doctor, where I focused on providing off-air channels for customers without local channel reception. Later I found myself running telemarketing rooms for companies like Global Response Corporation and DirecTV with much success. On Sept. 12, 2001, I walked away from my corporate position and went back to slapping a hammer and nail for work installing DirecTV. It quickly grew into the Audio Video and Theater market where Bert’s World was born in November of 2001. In 2003, while at Church, I heard Chris Lane from First Priority of South Florida talking about their ministry which encourages middle and high school student to organize and hold bible studies within school campuses. I immediately turned to my wife and said, “First Priority Audio and we will always support their ministry.” Today First Priority Audio supports 5 ministry/ charitable organizations in our local community. FPA has been a great vehicle for us to serve our clients and our community, and we appreciate the clients that have always supported our growth."

"Born and raised in Miami, I lived there until I left for college at the age of 18. After receiving my undergraduate degree from the Hotel School at Cornell University, my career in hospitality took a detour. I found my footing as an entrepreneur in 2007 when an unexpected opportunity presented itself. I launched a home technology company in the Miami area and quickly grew to earn the trust of my clients and the industry. As business opportunities grew, so did my need to learn. I returned to school and earned my MBA from the University of Miami in 2011. I then joined First Priority Audio, where we’ve grown to a nationally recognized leader in the industry. I love consulting homeowners and the design community on how to use technology to wow and enhance the home design."

"I was born and raised in Maryland, north of Baltimore. I was into boat and car audio at a young age doing installs for friends and family. I wound up a co-owner of a restaurant through college and that continued on for 15 years until I decided to move to Florida in 2006. Once in Florida I knew the restaurant industry was a thing of the past and I would be doing something different. An employment ad caught my eye for home audio installations, and I figured it was much the same as boat and car audio. That all evolved with the times and the technology into anything and everything electronic in the home. I like how this industry gets you hands on with many of the latest and greatest innovative products. The best thing about it is pulling them all together, having them working in unison, and having the client say wow."
