The CUBE vs. Bollard Subwoofer
For those familiar with Coastal Source’s partial-burial Bollard subwoofer, you may be wondering how the CUBE compares. While both options deliver impressive bass, there are a few key differences.
The Bollard Subwoofer is available in several sizes and can be installed both above-ground and partially buried. Standing tall and slim compared to the CUBE’s square, flat design, the Bollard may draw more attention to itself (unless it’s hidden amongst plants and shrubbery). The Bollard does feature a larger driver than the CUBE for more powerful sound, but is designed for open-air use.
On the other hand, the CUBE Subwoofer is a more compact solution, designed for flat-surface installations without burying the unit or disrupting your landscape. The CUBE makes an excellent choice for poolside areas, patios, porches, pool houses, etc.
